About this Module:

In this basic strategy module, Chris will show you how to build the first paragraph of your Task One response—the most important paragraph for Task One.

You’ll see the various ways you can paraphrase “description sentences”, so you can show off your English ability right at the beginning of your response.

Chris will also explain how to find the most important information in a graph, as well as how to use that information to create an effective overview statement.

Chris has been teaching test preparation since 2006, focusing on TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC for international students. He holds Bachelor degrees in English Literature and International Politics, and has a TEFL certificate.
