English Skills Preparing Questions & Answers
About this Module:
In this advanced strategy module, Chris will tell you the real meaning of “true”, “false”, “yes”, “no”, and “not given” in the eyes of the IELTS, especially what makes “false” different from “not given”.
In addition to showing you a specific method to use to answer True-False-Not Given questions, you’ll see some of the most common ways the IELTS tries to trick you into choosing a wrong answer for these types of questions, and what to think about about to avoid them.
You’ll see what Chris thinks about and double-checks when looking at the passage to see if a specific question is true, false, or not given.
Chris will also talk about how to deal with the uncertainty that many students face when dealing with statements they think might be “not given”.
